At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations, until then. But at that time your people everyone whose name is found written in the book will be delivered." Daniel 12:1.

Jesus Christ spoken here as Michael arises from his place in the temple in heaven and goes into the presence of the Father to receive the Kingdom (Daniel 7:13, 14) prior to his second advent. The prophecy of Daniel 12:1, the standing up of Michael is the event which terminates the period known as the "investigative judgment," which commenced in 1844 at the close of the 2300 day prophecy of Daniel 8:14. Let us examine the scriptures so that we will know what will soon take place upon planet earth.

The time of Jacob’s trouble will come at the close of human probation when Christ ceases his work as mediator in the Holy of Holies in the heavenly sanctuary (see Revelation 22:11). It will be the greatest time of trouble ever upon men.

God will pour out his wrath known as the seven last plagues upon the impenitent. Those who have the mark of the beast and those who worship his image. Rev 14: 9, 10."I saw in heaven another great and marvelous sign, seven angels with the seven last plagues, last because with them God’s wrath is complete." Rev 15:1

Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, Go pour out the seven bowls of God’s wrath on the earth. God loves us with an everlasting love. He is long suffering but there’s a line that is drawn by rejecting His love. He must deal with the sin problem once and for all.

Plague no 1:Ugly and painful sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshipped his image. (Church and state union) Rev 16:2."From the sole of your foot to the top of your head there is no soundness only wounds and welts and open sores not cleaned or bandaged or soothed with oil." Isaiah 1:6.Plague no 2: Sea became as the blood of dead men. Rev 16:3.

Several years ago large areas of the Ocean off the west coast of Florida turned red, fishes died by the thousands. Scientists said that it was caused by microscopic organisms suddenly multiplied by billions. Since the sea will become as blood of the dead men then cargo ships and tourist ships will go out of business.

Plague no 3: Rivers and fountains of waters become blood Rev 16:4-7. No water to quench thirst. What a life? Similar to the plague in Egypt. (Ex 7:17-21, 25). It will come as a punishment upon those who have persecuted God’s people. (Vs 5, 6, of Rev 16).

Plague no 4: Power was given unto him to scorch men with fire from the intensified heat of the sun. Those who now worship the sun unless they repent will receive God’s wrath.

Plague no 5: The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was plunged into darkness. Men gnawed their tongues in agony and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores but they refused to repent of what they had done. Rev 16:10, 11. Darkness in the kingdom of the beast.

Plague no 6: "The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East." Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.

The drying up of the river Euphrates is symbolic; remember water in Bible prophecy represent people’s multitudes, nations and kingdoms. Rev 17:15. Therefore the people will withdraw their support for that false system of worship called Babylon to make way for the kings of the East, Jesus and his mighty army.

Armageddon is mentioned here but the battle is fought in chapter 19 of Revelation after the 1000 years. Contrary to popular view that God’s people will be raptured before the seven last plagues or the great tribulation. God’s people like the Israelites in Egypt when God sent the 10 plagues, will still be on earth but will be shielded by God’s holy angels and whilst the wicked are thirsty and starving, God’s people will be taken care of.

"This is the man who will dwell on the heights, whose refuge will be the mountain fortress. His bread will be supplied and water will not fail him." Isaiah 33:16."He who dwells in the shelter of the most high will rest in the shadow of the almighty.Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.You will not fear the terror of night not thee arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plagues that destroys at midday.

A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked then no harm will befall you; no disaster (plague) will come near your tent." Psalm 91.Plague no 7: "There fell upon men a great hail out of heaven." Rev 16:17, 21.This is the second coming of Jesus; it is operation rescue planet earth. "The great city (Babylon) was divided into three parts."

These three divisions suggest paganism (spiritualism) papacy, Apostate Protestantism those who came out of Rome and are following her system of worship. Now is the time for us to be ready, when human probation closes, the plagues will fall, you do not have to fear, as long as you are dwelling in the secret place of the Most High and He is your Lord and Savior. Trust and obey for there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus is to trust and obey.
